Joanne graduated from the University of Ulster’s School of Art and Design in 1999 and lives in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. She has specialised in equine portraiture in oils and undertaken many private commissions for clients in the Ireland and the UK. In 2001 she was the youngest artist selected to exhibit at the International Salon de Saumur, France. Her painting of Irish Champion Hurdler Istabraq was presented to the top Irish rider at the European Eventing Championships in 2003. She exhibited at the Society of Equestrian Artists’ Silver Jubilee Newmarket exhibition in October 2004. She has also exhibited with the Society at Christie’s and the Mall Galleries, London between 2001 -2009. She was promoted to Associate Member of the Society of Equestrian Artists in 2004.
